Rajiv Pandya brings deep technical and commercial knowledge of the renewable energy industry and extensive management experience from the corporate world. Rajiv was also President of the solar project development company SHINE Development Partners, which was recently acquired by Hover Energy, and a Manager at cleantech fund Clean Feet Investors. 

Before focusing full time on the renewable energy industry in 2010, Mr. Pandya was with The Dow Chemical Company for 23 years, including his last ten years overseas in Thailand and China as Director of Purchasing for the Company’s Asia Pacific Region. Rajiv holds a BS Electrical Engineering from The University of Houston, and an MBA from The Cameron School of Business.

Rajiv and his wife Hina have the lowest Carbon Footprint in Houston, with two electric cars and a hybrid, solar panels on the roof, a green electricity plan, a Nest learning thermostat, and a rocking composter in the backyard. Over the past two years his daughters Shivani and Janvi graduated from UT Austin, and both work there for companies as a Financial Analyst and Software Engineer (respectively).
